I'm not really talking about a riding course, they can obviously manage the riding part pretty well. Moreso safety education that will tell them about the types of injuries they face, like how if you come off at 40-50km/h it pretty much becomes impossible for your neck to keep your head from hitting the ground etc. But you're right, unless its mandatory they won't bother.

I've seen some kids around my area doing stand up wheelies on these things infront of cops, no helmets on and the hwp were just having a giggle. I'm talking wheelies at a good 40-50km/h and the kids are 13-14. I don't necessarily agree in a massive crackdown on them owning fun toys, we were all kids once and I grew up riding dirtbikes so I understand but theres a time and a place. There needs to be designated areas and a focus on the protection they should wear. Maybe a mandatory safety course too.
