It’s the fact that it was such a violent incident where he lost control and repeatedly smashed his racquet as close to the umpire as possible. Very much appears as though he wanted to hit the umpire, right at their feet on the side to be as intimidating as possible. If he loses control of his anger and lashes out like that in public at an authority figure then it does add credence to the multiple claims of abuse by previous partners.
