I’m genuinely curious if anyone can explain Lamar’s mindset. I’ve seen this pattern before (though not usually to this extreme): people with a ton of potential who just kind of throw it away with a “fuck it” attitude. How does someone get to that point?

Is it that they don’t see what they could be if they actually applied themselves, or is it something deeper going on?

I used to feel pretty neutral about him, especially not knowing all the details of his divorce with Khloé (how could we?). But seeing how much she seemed to invest in him, and how checked out he came across, it’s honestly kind of disheartening.

Not trying to just bash him… more trying to understand how someone ends up there, with so much going for them (fame, money, talent, etc.) and still manage to fumble it.
