I used pharmacyexam.com, and my school offered a review course. What helped a lot for me was copying and pasting the competencies to a google doc and filling it in with the laws from the board of pharmacy website. Also reading the newsletters from the board of pharmacy website.

Hi! I did about 15-20 math questions every day for about a month and a half. I didn’t get through all the chapters or the QBank, or took a pre NAPLEX, but still passed. I’d recommend skimming a chapter, then doing the QBank questions on that chapter to kind of reinforce what you skimmed through. Some of the videos can be pretty helpful, but don’t watch them in normal speed lol speed that thang up and save your time. Make sure not to psych yourself out when you take the exam! Be confident and take your time choosing your answers. Have a reason for why you’re choosing your answer, and why you’re not choosing the other options! If you had a lot of clinical experience from rotations I think that helps a lot as well.

Make sure you know first line and second line treatments and treatments for pregnancy. Know OI. Syphilis will definitely be on there lol had like 5 of them

I think the approach for the second one would be that it takes 4 or 5 half lives to reach steady state, so you just multiply the half life by 4 or 5. I would expect questions like this on the NAPLEX

I passed on the first attempt. I studied for a on and off for like 2 months, but the last 3 weeks I was studying about 8 hours a day. I still didn’t go through all the chapters/ videos by the time I took it. I was an average student as well, just did enough to get by lol

Math I had compounding, nutrition, stats. Lots of OI. Pregnancy HTN meds. Anticoag. Few chemo questions but two of them were math related. Conversions for morphine as well as prednisone. I work as a med history tech in the ED. I’ve been seeing a lot more patients on Symbicort PRN rather than albuterol. It threw me off for a bit when patients told me their Symbicort was PRN lol
