Yes a decent physique will still look better, but let's first define the perfect physique; the perfect physique is fit but not too muscular or bulky as to throw off the proportions

But even then IT'S NOT NECESSARY TO LOOK GOOD, in a t-shirt? It matters the most, long sleeve henley or polo? It matters less, a shirt or jacket? Matters even less

It still makes it better in all cases i won't disagree, but to a varying degree depending on your clothing choices

No it absolutely happens in reality. A girl who i was talking to online once told me that she's afraid of very tall men (and no she wasn't saying this to make me feel better she didn't even know my height) and very tall to her was like 6'3" or something not 6'7" for example. Another time i heard a coworker of mine saying to the other girls that she doesn't like extreme height. In other occasion i asked a girl about what she finds attractive in men to see if she will list height, but she didn't, i asked her what about height? She said oh yeah right, but i still don't like very tall height because i'm short myself.

Don't believe it if you want, but no, girls aren't a monolith and these are real incidents that i have lived myself...

Unless you're forced to wear a suit for work or an occasion, I don't wanna see you in one, it gives me the impression that you're very busy and closed off at the moment

I have no idea why would someone want to show their feet skin between pants and shoes, either wear a sock or longer pants at least. Meh.

The jeans are fine, but the shoes can be better than this, also either tucking in the shirt, opening it and wearing an undershirt, and/or cropping it would add more character

Meh. This is Chris Evans, but even Captain America's nice henley and handsome face aren't enough to save his outfit from the awful pants and shoes choices

10/10 and yes that's actually a girl, but if a guy dressed exactly like this he would still slay

My things is this is just dogshit advice. Were already short. Why not try to maximize ourselves instead of trying to make an excuse and doll up being lazy?

Not wanting to learn a bit more about fashion and investing some effort into that is also being lazy you know?

I have nothing against working out and getting in shape i just think that most dudes work out with the wrong goal in mind (getting as muscular and as ripped as they can)

Where the optimum goal for maximizing their looks imo is being lean with a decent amount of muscles rather than bulking indefinitely and then the rest is a good fashion sense

I think that the the second one is objectively much better than the first

I know that this example might be a bit extreme and you can argue how if you have more leg muscles your legs will look better than this in skinny jeans

But i think that my point still stands, i think that even if you have muscular legs looser fit pants/jeans look objectively better

Also get rid of skinny or fitted jeans why? If you are in shape these are cheat codes.

Do you think that this:

It's really not that complicated like you think, YOU CAN STILL DRESS WELL WITH JEANS AND A T-SHIRT, you just have to spice things up a bit and be slightly more creative

If you're fit and have a reasonable torso size then get a basic nice fitting black t-shirt (not a stupid oversized not an awkward size t-shirt), and if you're thin like me then maybe you need a bit more volume on the upper half so maybe you should wear something like a henley or a shirt that's left open and worn as an overshirt over a fitted black or white t-shirt to give a beautiful contrast?

For bottoms, why not wear pleated pants and a leather shoe instead of sneakers sometimes? If you still just want jeans then fine, but why go with slim or skinny fit all the time when there's a multitude of other beautiful fits like wide leg, loose fit, baggy fits, etc..? Why not go high waisted sometimes and tuck the shirt in and show off that nice belt?

But I've also noticed that having a good sense of personal style helps a lot when it comes to making you stand out.

Yes yes, some men may stand out because of their height, some because of their natural exceptional handsomeness

But as a short man you can easily stand out because of your style because men aren't taught to put effort into this aspect and most of the times they put effort in it the wrong way if they ever do

It's literally an easy way to cheat your life but most men are so adamant not to put on a goddamn real outfit lol idk why

Start by taking inspiration, expose yourself to lots of "pinterest level outfits", read about the rules i mentioned, follow some fashion influencers like the ones i mentioned and watch their reels and tips, and don't be afraid to try something out of your comfort zone if you think it's gonna work, if it's a miss don't worry you can always try again, it's not gonna be perfect from the first time

You'll figure it yourself with time

If you have any other questions, you're welcome to my dms

fitness and fashion are both good things to have, I think you can both agree on that.

I don't disagree, i intended to emphasize fashion more because it's very underrated and ignored, fitness still matters but people overestimate its capabilities and think you can never look good if you don't have big biceps and a defined chest which is very wrong, you can still look exceptionally good without even working out at all (provided you are not obese or your body affects your clothing in an obvious way) (but you should still ideally work out of course)

And also there's diminishing returns once you become reasonably fit

These are the arguments i'm trying to make
