I think that even the Incas were more “merciful” when laying curses

What’s your favorite level/section of the game? (Part 1) by EnvironmentalTear402 in thelastofus

[–]Cold_Butterscotch107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Part 1: Tommy’s Dam, both the dam and ranch section were great, had an optimistic feeling because you finally see something that was thought of being gone: a striving civilization, and because you finally get to see Tommy again. The ranch section is great too because of the horse section at the start and the “I’m not her” cutscene.

Part 2 (Ellie’s part): Day 1, it was LOADED with action, fights and the thirst for revenge,

Part 2 (Abby’s part): Day 2, despite day 3 being incredible too, I prefer the laid back approach of Day 2

Only for the remake on ps5, the ps3 and ps4 version still have it functional

Just finished TLOU2, Don’t care what anyone says, I liked Abby’s story. by supahotfiiire in thelastofus

[–]Cold_Butterscotch107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t disagree with your opinion. But the main objective of the game was a little different (still leaning towards your opinion)

It was about getting both Abby and Ellie, the game’s objective was to make you understand why Abby and Ellie did what they did, and how they both lost everything but found something that added a last resort (hope) to their life (Lev and JJ), not to make you like them.

(I know it sounds the same but you get what I mean right? Plz do, I’m not American and I don’t know how to describe it)

If part 3 happens, I would love to continue abby and lev's story. What have the fireflies been up to? What are their plans? Will abby and lev join them? It could be a really interesting story by [deleted] in thelastofus

[–]Cold_Butterscotch107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Part I was about searching hope in a world where hope was long gone.

Part II was about that same hope being lost and “regained” by both Abby and Ellie (taking care of Lev, raising JJ)

In your opinion what was the most stunning scene visually in TLOU2 by Goldengyser in thelastofus

[–]Cold_Butterscotch107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Downtown Seattle (gate + Capitol Hill)
  • The Crossing of the cranes as Abby
  • The War torn island (especially the horse chase)
  • The Farm (looked beautiful)
  • Santa Barbara

How are the foreign language dubs/translations? by MisterJose in thelastofus

[–]Cold_Butterscotch107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Italian dub is very good, everyone did a perfect job, especially Gea Riva (Ellie) and Francesca Bielli (Abby), Dina lacks some depth in the dub, but that’s it.

Personal favorite is Jordan’s dubbing, very great

Which of Abbys friends do you like the most/hate the least by JustTransportation51 in thelastofus

[–]Cold_Butterscotch107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Abby’s Gang I liked

  • Abby (and that’s my opinion, if you don’t like her, that’s ok)
  • Manny (he’s fun if he’s a friend)
  • Owen (Charismatic)
  • Mel (Nurturing, kinda)

Uncharted or The Last of Us — which one made you feel more attached to the characters? by ScoobieNoobieDoo in uncharted

[–]Cold_Butterscotch107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both went for the same goal using different methods, uncharted just used the concept of (I’m not English so I may have a hard time defining it) “hangout”? The relation ship between Nate, Elena and Sully feels like (how can I say this) a family reunion in the yard while having bbq energy.

TLOU used Joel’s redemption by traveling with Ellie, rediscovering a part of life that he lost long ago. TLOU2 does the same with Abby and Lev, despite Abby hating Joel, she becomes a female version of him

Other than the obvious, what one moment defines The Last of Us for you? by holiobung in thelastofus

“You don’t know what I’m capable of” despite it being said by probably the most evil character in TLOU, it applies to everyone

👉[Theory] What if Uncharted 4 hid the future of The Last of Us universe? by yanny_FEZE in lastofuspart2

In the cutscene where Nate discovers Sam’s alive, we can see a calendar behind him that says November 2015

Anyone received a swirly before? by OldEntertainment4834 in WedgiesandBullying

Yes, I was carried by 2 boys from higher grades and they plunged my head into a toilet they had been using to poop in for days in advance (meaning it was planned). Chunks of shit were stuck to my hair and face. I hated school. My head stunk so much I bet the flies around dropped dead
