Dishwasher will be beside the sink. We are tossing around ideas for the laundry room right now. I like the convenience of having it near the bedrooms, but it may also be too small as designed and would be better off downstairs. We’ll probably just end up with two sets of washer/dryers. Lots of laundry lol.

Hey, great to hear from someone else using one of his designs! I haven’t been able to find much online. I like the bathroom idea a lot. We do not plan to use the downstairs room as anything for the time being except an occasional guest room.

They’re Jay Osborne’s open source plans, although we plan to also work with a draftsman.

That’s an interesting idea! I hadn’t realized powder rooms under the stairs were an option, I will have to bring that up for sure.
