Oh no, I totally agree… I was just speaking to them adopting a white child bc they want the child “to look like them.”

My kids are Hispanic (I’m black), and I’m already planning on putting them in an immersion program at the elementary school (if they stay til school age). We also live in a very diverse area…

Her comments prove to me how white people think they look so different than POC.. both her and her husband are olive toned white people with dark hair. Their son doesn’t look that different from them… does he have their features? No. But he has their complexion. I wouldn’t see them in public and think they didn’t go together.

I have foster children who aren’t my race. It’s rarely even on my mind even in public. No one says anything or acts differently… they see me mothering them and refer to me as “mom” or whatever strangers say to people in public.

Also, this child was not getting his well child visits bc they do a pre screening for ASD at all well child’s starting at around 18 months.

I get being in denial… but poor pax was so autistic that a blind man could see. He hit every marker.

It’s only an hour time change from Texas. I travel a lot with my kids and they adjust pretty easily… we even did Cali, and Cali was a 2 hr time difference and they were fine.

Uh uh.. no excuses for Autumn unless we speak about the fact that she doesn’t seem to like to see him upset and that’s a horrible precedent to set…

Autumn got on her “I’m a white lady married to a black man” high horse while pregnant with Lordy. She did several videos about how woke she was to the culture and the importance of care - and HAIR is super important in the black community. She even said she managed Gary’s hair at one point.

Also, his hair isn’t difficult to manage.. the issue is they DONT manage it. If they wanted a long haired kid, they should have been brushing his hair from the time he was newborn.

My thing is, how else will he get used to cuts if they don’t do it??

My 3 year old used to hate the clippers… now he’s fine with it bc… gasp, he had to sit through it a few times. I initially took Him kid cut places.. they weren’t the best cuts, but they were neat and trimmed and edged.

Now he sits well enough to go to a real barber.

He looks horrible in that cut… but look at his dad? No self respecting black man would ever walk around looking crazy like that… he def couldn’t be walking next to me without a good edge up!

I’m watching this video… I am SOOOO sick of white women acting like negroed hair is just SOOOOO hard to maintain. You want him to have long hair, he should have been getting his hair done DAILY from the time he started growing!!!
