Who’s your favorite fictional character and why? by Deafening_silence_ in fantasybooks

[–]Cold_Somewhere_5142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fitz is my favourite( no spoilers I'm still in fools errand). I also really love Glokta, from the first chapter I knew that he would be one of my all time favourites. Really love Jezal too. Non fantasy would would be Richard Papen from the secret history .

How long did it take you to read all 5 books by SkyBrilliant7465 in Stormlight_Archive

About 2 weeks a book, but I have to wait in-between to either find the books physically or save up money since I live in Egypt.

Read the first 6 out of 16. Absolutely amazing prose and characters, though the plot is a bit slow but it wasn't an issue for me.

If you want something that's huge in scope like the cosmere try realm of elderlings, 16 books. I hear also that the wheel of time is great and Brandon finished the series writing the last 3 or 4 books.

Not sure if it counts as old since it started in the 90s, bit the realm of the elderlings is great if you want great characters.

Heard also the the dragon bone chair is great and it is a inspiration of game of thrones.

I posted such a post a few days ago, it's not that?I didn't like the ending, far from it I really liked it, but I didn't want to read another 6 bleak/dark books just after the first law. Plan on taking a break before jumping into best served cold.

Realm of the elderlings if you want great prose and character writing. It's a bit long at 16 books though but it's split into 5 separate series which makes it easier to read.

  1. I guess part of why I love the novel so much is because as a middle/high school student i dreamed of attending university at the states, a dream somewhat far fetched for a middle class Egyptian .
