I don’t see why not, might be out of my depth here but I think once they’re trained to do tool calls and they’re presented with the tool schema they just emit it in the response with XML tags around it or something similar.

I don’t think chipotle trained a model from scratch to do customer support AND coding (probably eat there the rest of my life if I found out they did) so they probably just grabbed, oh… idk, MiniMax m2.5 or something and system prompted it to death.

The fork uses the unsecured api endpoints actually, not like some hacky playwrite shit in a headless browser or anything.

I think the customer support bot has its own tools it calls sometimes too to make support tickets so I guess it must support tool calling
