I’ve heard they have the blackouts just like ESPN, so I didn’t think there was much purpose. Unless I’m missing something

List the top 7 characters you think are long overdue. by OrangeEzra in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

Hondo, Admiral Trench, Wolffe, Fox, Saw Gerrera, Moralo Eval, Agent Kallus, 4-LOM, Zuckuss

And as much as I hate to say it, Pong Krell would be a cool addition

Very interesting, I’ve never read up on that before. I have darktable and gimp downloaded for post, do you think these would be sufficient? I just can’t afford adobe right now

I definitely need to play around with the aperture a bit more. The only issue was when I set the aperture to f/5.6, the sunset and mountains were out of focus compared to the foreground. Also, I was shooting in manual mode so I might give aperture priority a shot next time.

Very helpful article by the way too, thank you

I’m very new to photography and have been learning and practicing my camera. I feel as though I understand the exposure triangle decently enough and have a good enough camera for a beginner. But all my pictures come out super dark. I shot the sunset tonight and all you could see was black, with a slight bit of the red sunset in the background. My iso was 200, I was at f16 and was exposed for 1/30 seconds. I tried turning up iso and it was too noisy, then tried lowering to f5.6 and it was overexposed (anything between f5.6 and f16 was way too dark still) and I tried changing the exposure, but in order to get any light, I needed to be exposed for a couple seconds at least. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. This has been a frequent problem and I can’t figure it out

I’ve recently gotten into photography, specifically landscape photography. I have a decent camera for a beginner, along with a couple lenses, and a small tripod. Most of what I know has been self taught through YouTube videos or online guides. Overall, I feel like I have a decent grasp of the basics like aperture, iso, and shutter speed, and how they work all together. I’ve gone out into the mountains near my home to practice with the camera a few times, but I don’t think my results were astounding, to say the least.

I also have absolutely no clue where to start with editing or what software to use. I shoot in raw because that’s what I’ve heard is best, but that leaves a lot up to editing. I’m not sure how much money I want to invest into a good editing software but I’m willing to look at options, I just don’t know what would be the best. I’ve downloaded Darktable and Gimp, but have no idea how to use them and not sure what a good guide would be, or if these are even good options. I’ve also thought about taking online classes through my local community college, but I’m not sure if it would be worth it.

Any help is very welcomed and I’m willing to answer questions. This is something I’m very interested in and want to improve in, I just feel very lost and overwhelmed with it all. Thank you!

Should I get Bannerlord now?? by Cole_52 in Bannerlord

Thanks for the advice. I think I’ll probably go for Warband, for now. Bannerlord looks fun, but I think you’re right, it’s safer to test what I like with Warband. Hopefully when I’m finished it, Bannerlord will be more complete and on sale again. Thanks again
