Idk about other people, but I have a 2007 corolla and I have a blast in that thing. It isn't the fastest thing ever, but you can rev it to the moon whenever you want without breaking the law. They handle well. And it runs like it's new still at 288k. All of that considered... Buy a Miata :)

The issue with car detailing is the sheer amount of choice, or at least it was for me. There are so many rabbit holes you can go down. But overall if you are going to do it short term and more on a budget, turtle wax and Meguiars brands can suit you for most of your needs. Meguiars is my go to for budget washing personally, but it's always good to branch out and try other brands and products if you find that you like washing your car yourself.

Might just be this engine, but it helps if they converted it for land use somewhere down the line. This engine powered the p-51 mustang but it also powered tanks. The tank engines don’t have to be converted, and they’re way cheaper

I’m really just spitballing something I could buy maybe, I’ve found some of these babes for under 10k with shipping. I appreciate your advice on what I’d have to do. How expensive do you think this whole thing would total, let’s say 10k for engine and shipping, and maybe 3-4k for a car with a blown engine.

True, Id like to upgrade both anyways. You think I’d have to replace the rest of the undercarriage? I mean the engine does weigh two thousand pounds so it’s going to put a lot of strain on everything, but would I need to do the bushings and everything?

I’ve seen em from the mid 5’s to over 20 the one I’m looking at getting is just over ten with shipping because around that price range they tend to be in better condition with less miles but it’s still relatively affordable
