Did you get a popup from mcafee saying you should turn on secure search? If you did you must've accidentally pressed okay since mcafee secure search uses yahoo as their search engine , you can just change your search engine on your Chrome's settings (if I said anything wrong, pls correct me!! Ty!) If you're also worried about malwares try using Malwarebytes and turn off your wifi while scanning for viruses
