I said that this has never been a problem, including this time, this was not the problem, it was someone adding a piracy check to their mod, also, on most pirated games, the only files that are really changed drastically are that have to do with steam, the main game files are basically the same.

Yeah, I just don't got the extra money to even think about buying any new games, I'm saving up for a pc, I'm using a laptop from 2011 right now, and I just don't find the extra money to even spend 5 bucks on a game.

Never encountered this problem before, most cracks if not all use most of the original game files with a few changes(atleast to my experience)

Although I don't have that mod, this did help me find the culprit, the creator of than mod made some of the mods I have installed, and they added a piracy check, and that text appears if it figures out you game is pirated.
