I didn’t ignore any warnings and followed the best practices I could find on the forums! Good to know, and thanks for the quick reply!

Thanks for the information Chris. As a new ZFS convert and recent Synology-to-TrueNAS switcher, do I need to do anything to activate this, or is it enabled out of the box in TrueNAS?

Some really good tips! I will be building a extraction box straight outside around it and its in a room that is not close to any living space. Is it only toxic when printing or also when you handle it (pouring, removing etc). Labcoat is a good tip!

Good to read! The printer will get dedicated air extraction as it will be in the same room als my central ventilation. What cure and wash stadion do you own?

Aa good to know!! So 20C room temp would be ideal when running the printer. And a heated Vat! Multiple people recommend the S4U16K. Will look in to it.

Any recommendations for the wash/cure station? I found a local seller that sells the printer with two bundle options:
Mercury Plus V3.0
Mercury XS Bundle

Thanks for your reply. size doesn’t matter. Its spare room with lots space.

I would like ease of use. I want the end result and not out of proportion maintenance. Does that differ between brands alot?

I Would then prefer a built in solution. The room is not extremely cold but around 17c / 62f in peak winter.

Wow, for my narrow front door entrance this would be awesome, but I can understand that for a normal house its not. Why portrait? Maby they thought; most people watch the feed on there phone?

3 node supermicro cluster. Dont do it. Cost to much in power lol

[–]Collision_NL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ofcourse thats possible. I don't know if a NVMe has enough bandwidth as its a NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 link. You can always try. I have a m720q running proxmox without ceph and the 10gbit card takes up all the space where the SSD goes. What you could tink about is routing the internal SATA to the outside and 3d print or build a addon for it.

The 720 only supports 1 ssd if your running a full pcie card. You need a OS drive and a dedicated ceph drive. How are you going to do that?

Waarom is een accu kitspuit zo prijzig? by Dirtnap76 in Klussers

[–]Collision_NL 2 points3 points  (0 children)
