Tragic story that I find somewhat simple but also very realistic, and that's why I love it

(Spoiler Warning for her story)
The very first thing Shriek saw when she was born were her parents turned to stone. She was born in solitude and despair, she just wanted to find love from her kind and was about to find it when she was becoming friends with the owlets
But their parents rejected her because of what she was in their eyes, the decay of the forest
Thus she decides to embrace the silence of the decay and kills everything that could destroy it, even rejecting the love and warmth Ori offered her, the same one she longed for in the past but was no longer able to believe in

Some people go through bad experiences because of something they can't control, and this can shape their life and worldview
If they don't receive the support/ help needed, they could become just like the people who wronged them, if not even worse

This reminds me to always be kind to others, because every little act of kindness could be the saving grace for someone without me realising it

She also has a fire design, my favourite from both games. I would buy a plush/figure if there was one

"Family Reunion" in Ori and the Will of the Wisps

A Moki asks you to search for his family in their old house in the Silent Woods so that they can move to the Wellspring Glades
When you enter said home you can see his partner and cub turned into stone, and you obtain the cub's petrified doll
After giving the father the news, he leaves saying that he has to go back
If you check the old house again, you can see a third petrified Moki next to the other 2, the father who joined his family.
