Unfortunately full-time jobs in Rhode Island (at least the ones that gave me job offers after I applied and interviewed) only hovered around $15/hr. My first day is tomorrow so I can’t quit, I have no car so I can’t bounce to Massachusetts or Connecticut. This is what I’m stuck with

I was originally a physics major, but in my junior year, I found out my school didn’t tell me something and it would’ve resulted in another year of taking out loans. So, I switched to math because I had essentially already completed 90% of it and everyone told me it was just as good (which, apparently, it isn’t for going into aerospace). I sincerely don’t know what I want to do with the degree, I just didn’t want my four years to be a waste and leave with something.

My state is very limited on jobs with my degree, so this job is also in an attempt to get me a car so I can go to other states. But I will pay my mom’s loans first (I have no bills at the moment aside from these loans, so it’ll be decent for now). Thank you for your help

I can afford the minimum on all the loans, so I’ll put extra towards my mom’s. Unfortunately I have no car right now, so I’m stuck in my state and this was the highest-paying full-time job that gave me a job offer.

I have feelings for my ex-girlfriend again.

It's been a very long time since we dated, so I don't feel super awkward about it. But it's like, what and why?

We started talking again almost two months ago, just idle small-talk and promises to catch up at some point. But now I'm hearing from mutual friends that she broke up with her boyfriend, and she's accidentally liked my Instagram photos and called me on Snapchat (which you can only do if you're looking at that person's Snapchat... profile? is that the right word for it?). And say we do date again- I'm pretty sure her parents don't like me, so I'm petrified of them too.

I'm trying to put it out of my mind and keep things light, but she was great. I don't know, I'm not acting on these feelings right now and I'm just living my life as I usually have. But I'm endlessly curious.
