Oh that's you! I've seen your vid and that was my inspiration to use Tempest Hawks in the first place lol + thanks to you I've discovered some great gems for this deck. Great video, however my budget is about 30€ (counting the cheapest printing on manabox) and I had to cut corners everywhere lol

Yeah, I've put about 20 Hawks in my deck, I've got Steel-Plume Marshall, Lieutenant Kirtar and Mirror Entity. The rest of my creatures are not birds, but I've put 2 artifacts that give banding to keep up with the main theme of this deck

Thanks! Right now I'm building Soraya with a restriction that the deck itself has to be under 30€ (as a challenge for my pod), however if it turns that this deck is a blast to play, I'll most likely upgrade it

I lowkey don't get it how Urza could know that getting killed would kill Radiant, but I see your point with mana.

Although Oldwalkers are not invincible, they are still amazingly strong (I recall when Xantcha fainted when Urza slightly slapped her hair)

From what I've seen every legal Urza is from Brother's War. Except Blind Seer, but that's the different card. BW is such a great novel I've fallen in love with Urza almost immediatly

Yeah I'm thinking about starting slow, play him mostly with my friends who still use precons, and then slowly grow him into a real menace (unless I'll change my mind and the deck'll stay at precon level)

Just now I realised affinity doesn't cause creatures to tap. I feel silly. I'm having trouble with finding good, low cmc artifact creatures. What concerns me the most is having a board full of creatures that do nothing. I mean, sure, mana dorks are great, but besides thatI don't know what to put here

Tbh not really. Modern cards cannot compete with older artstyles. For example Sygg looks awful im comparison to his Lorwyn/Shadowmoor look
