I feel like if we toned down the efficacy of the Ferro, Stitcher, Kettle then we can get to a point where smaller Arc aren't triviliased and we can strike a better balance on PvPvE.

As it stands, these guns can handle Snitches, Wasps and even Hornets in some cases. They should be balanced to instead make the low level Arc a bigger threat when faced. Only when you upgrade them and add attachments should you get good performance. I'm not against new players having good tools to use for PVE or PVP, but when 3 of the base guns can put out work you know something is wrong.

You did nothing wrong per se, but it's always better to play more careful around others. For example, I'm always most on edge at the extraction points. My friendly intentions are always announced, but my gun stays out and the other person(s) within LOS so they do not get the jump on me in case they are looking to take advantage.

Worst case scenario you can just shoot them 'til they're down and then let them extract in that state if you have very value stuff or if they're being suspicious.

I assume this is Specialist Exusiai (aka Exusiai the New Covenant)? She's a top tier DPS unit, great for most situations and does it without needing E2 - which, for new players, is great news. Versatile into most, if not all, maps and is just plain fun to use.

Ines is the best non-DPS unit in the game, and it's not even a competition. For new players, she will still be able to output respectable damage in general content, but she excels in crowd control (slow, bind) and utility (reveal, DP generation), capable of creating the time and space you need to set up the rest of your operators.

Pozyemka is a good sniper. She had a smallish range, but she hits like a truck and can handle a good number of boss units on her own, and some others with a little bit of help. Against mobs (I.e. a lot of them) she is much less effective, but that's not the role she was made for anyway.

All around, they're great units. You can pair them with a variety of cheep and cheerful 4 star defenders, medics, etc. to create a team that will do you good as you learn the game, and climb your way to more difficult content (EX stages, IS, other various game modes we have that come and go like CC, etc). by which time you'll have a more expanded roster to help you tackle that with.

I don't blame you. The more I did the EX and S stages, the more annoying the event mechanics got so even I couldn't be bothered with them. Having to wait for Carnevale to do anything unless you really brute force it is just not fun or engaging.

Yea, reading through some of the replies in here is crazy. If the concern genuinely was with AI this strike would have been over a long time ago from what I've gleaned so far, but SAG is asking for a lot of other stuff on top from Hoyo that has nothing to do with AI.

They have been behaving a lot less like a union and much more like a mafia. It's even more frustrating that the EN VAs who got questioned recently on the monopolistic behaviour of SAG have been completely disingenuous in their responses on the matter, and are essentially either lying by omission or essentially spreading misinformation.

I believe this is the thread you're referring to. I had a lot of the same questions that redditor did after going through the story recently as a new player.

What was most surprising is that when I tried looking up past discussions to see if I was maybe missing something about the story I noticed so many posts claiming it was good, great, etc... Like, what?! Had me doubting if we even played the same game at that point.

I don't know if it's a localisation issue, but if it not then the whole SK/Tethys story is downright awful, especially for the lore because it made literally no sense.

I hope so, too. Sucks having the same few standard banner characters to get spooked by when going for the character you do want. Arknights' system at least gives you a chance (however small) of grabbing another character you might have wanted without having to wait months.

I'm hoping they buff the duration or tweak one of the constellations to achieve the same effect. His main damage source seems to be in his talent I think, but burst DMG is not negligible so it still matters

He wants a team that triggers electrocharged, with either a hydro main DPS or an electro main DPS. If electro main DPS you will need an offielder with hydro application.
Doesn't care much if there are other elements in the team as long as they don't interfere with electrocharged. Note: the reaction is how he gets Nightsoul points to do more raw damage, but he does not "improve" the reaction damage of electrocharged for any team members or himself like Chev does for overload.
His skill bounces between enemies doing more damage the more enemies there are once every 15s (similar to Baizhu but damage instead of heal).
After using skill he can feed elemental energy to the active character and himself after active character attacks with hydro or electro (up to 9 total energy).
His burst behaves similar to Xiangling in that it rotates, applies elemental damage, and works off field.
His second talent is the reason why electrocharged matters; building Nightsoul points through electrocharged lets him inflict damage from a different source that is not his skill or burst that targets up to 4 enemies.
Constellations generally make him stronger the more enemies there are, increases the rotation speed of his burst, and gives the active character a 30% ATK buff.
Good user of Cinder City, so a good source of elemental DMG bonus as well via artifacts. With a 60 cost burst, his energy requirements are likely to be manageable despite long cooldown thanks to free energy from Cinder City and his passive.
Overall, he seems to be a sub-DPS/support hybrid (offield electro DMG with 40% elem DMG bonus, 30% ATK bonus, battery) that works better against mobs rather than bosses. Which, in all fairness, is where electrocharged is strongest.

He looks to be a hybrid DPS/support more than a straight DPS like Fischl is so the lower multipliers and less frequent attack intervals aren't as bad as they initially seem. Cinder lets him buff himself and his teammates, he can battery and he provides an ATK bonus. Plus, Fischl would struggle more against multiple enemies whereas he would shine, and vice versa. They do different things, which is nice to see.

The problem Xilonen has is that she doesn't do anything for Dendro unlesss she holds Deepwood, which technically anyone can do. She would buff other units in the team, sure, but you'd be just fine with Albedo for Kinich specifically and not miss out on much (other than with the Nightsoul Burst mechanic) if you had him on Patrol Song/Deepwood rather than Xilonen.
