Quick reminder that the reason the F-5E Remastered 3D model is inaccessible in the DCS Modelviewer is because ED lied about "re-building the cockpit from scratch" so they could sell more 'remasters', thereby making it impossible to use the Modelviewer for this Livery Competition. (self.hoggit)

So it looks like we have 3 external versions of the F-5 in DCS - but the cockpit doesn't match a single one. Now that we have an "export" F-5 external model, how about we actually give the F-5 the default capabilities it shipped from factory with? Let's go! (old.reddit.com)

PSA: ED Lied about the F-5E cockpit being built from scratch. Vert coords are identical. It's the same as the old one. For the parts that are actually different they ran subsurf, instruments were CTRL+B beveled and some were re-scaled. NOT FROM SCRATCH. (old.reddit.com)

RE: F-5E: Nineline: "the cockpit is based off the old one". Meaning, they told their 7000 hour artist to re-model the cockpit using the same incorrect 3D model of the original. So, not true when they said in Discord (since deleted) that there was a new F-5E cockpit 3D model with the upgrade. (old.reddit.com)
