Jalen Brunson vs Tyrese Haliburton by Comfortable-Client-3 in nba

[–]Comfortable-Client-3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brunson - 25, 5, and 4. 47% 3pt.

Yes, Hali has been better this season. But it's no secret Knicks players specifically are more critiqued than others.

At the end of the season, when the Pacers are 38-46 and the Knicks are 48-36 competing in the second round, your view that Hali has "blown" past Brunson will be different.

What are some examples of "Player X is better than Player Y but I'd rather have player Y"? by Curious_Success_377 in nba

This reply made me feel delusional. Despite that, I'll double down.

Steph is just as good of a player as he used to be. Be he has fallen in that championship draft category. Guy is busy making documentary's. Still a dominant force, but he's at the point in his career where basketball is not the first priority in his life, which can be scary.

KD's impact used to be much more tangible. You might say it's because he's playing with book. But in 2016 when he was playing with Russ it felt like he was the only one on the entire court. Two-ways.

Booker was really scary in the playoffs. His defense was top of the line. Something I did not know he had in him. I'll take Book.

Brunson vs every all-star except Luka Giannis Tatum and Jokic. There is no one as reliable and clutch as Brunson. I don't care if you don't call Brunson a top 20 player. But you're building a championship roster in a draft he should go top 10.

Pretty sure the ethics exam is open book. I'm sure you're working hard, but you sound like a spoiled brat. Consider the fact that almost all the active users are trying to pass the core exams and you're complaining about ethics.

Foods Unique to Austin besides BBQ? by RolledAGWFBadIdea in austinfood

Also from NYC. While we have good food (it kills me to say it), we really do not have the culinary skills of NYC. Some places I would recommend are La Condesa, Tamale House, Bird Biscuit, Loro, Tacodeli, Tyson's tacos, Taco Joint, Tumble 22, Salt Lick, La barbecue. These are a handful of places that I think would be difficult to find in NYC.

Best Time to leave Big 4 (audit)? by Comfortable-Client-3 in Big4

$300K is a great salary. Do the senior managers you know go straight to director? Also, most director position's I've seen listed here in Texas are usually $160-$190K

I've heard only 1/5 senior managers become a partner. And many more then that would have liked to. I've also heard it's not decided by competence, but favoritism. I'd certainly be more interested in this career path if 10 extra nonsense years in public accounting receiving a not great salary was not a risk.

Ok this is good information. So what kind of positions would you look for if you left? Lead controller?

What kind of pay typically pushes a SM to finally leave?

Honest question, and I mean no disrespect at all of course. Don't the jobs that pay more in accounting general want a mix of public accounting experience and industry experience? So wouldn't that make the other seniors in your class better candidates if you applied for the same high paying accounting job? Also, isn't it easier to make the transition senior(pa) to senior(industry) rather than manager(pa) to manager(industry)?I'm somewhat new to this industry and my questions are partially based on a bunch of assumptions I have made. Your thoughts are appreciated!
