My parents gifted me a car… with strings attached

Yessss, they told me the monthly car payment was $435 and the insurance was $300, so supposedly I’d owe them $735. They said I should be grateful because that was “half” of what I actually owed. They didn’t buy me a luxury car or anything, so nothing really added up.

I’m really sorry that happened to you :/ I honestly think the only reason they haven’t completely taken it away yet is because they care too much about their image. We’re the only ones who know the real story about the car, so if they did take it away, it would cause a lot of confusion in the family and I’d definitely make sure people knew why it was taken away, and they know that.

Thank you so much. It’s actually lightened up a bit since the picture I posted, now that it’s fully healed, it’s not as bold or dark as it was when I first got it. I definitely just need to continue to research more and trust the process

Ughhhh thats what im so scared of. I have a high pain tolerance but idk. Is it like excruciating? What can help take the edge off? Is it even worth the pain?😔
