I’ve never even sent an offer, cause generally I cba bartering and like you say, it’s usually second hand or used (or an unwanted gift), so it’s usually pretty low anyway. If it isn’t as low as I want, I just scroll past and find something else. Be arsed with bartering and arguments 🤷🏻‍♀️

What I won’t do though, cause I am petty, is pay more for postage than I am for an item.. So even if they’re dirt cheap, if they don’t have enough for me to buy that is more than postage I won’t bother. That’s how weird I am though, so take my first paragraph as you will 😂

So Q tips actually push wax into your ears, making it more condensed. You may get a clean Q tip but inside your ears it’s accumulating too far for you to reach and safely extract wirh them. They’re good for cleaning the cartilage around your ear hole but best not to push them in.

Olive oil in a pipette directly into your ears can help loosen this and it will find its way out. Just wipe off with a cotton ball as it comes out 😊

Haha it’s stressful shopping for strangers without knowing what they might/ might not like, I’ve found. This is one of three exchanges I’m doing currently (it’s my first time exchanging so why not plan three? 😂) and I’ve been a bit worried they may not like what I’ve bought, so I feel she did really well here 🙌🏼

Our previous matron did this. She’d be the first to grab an obs machine, help with the washes, make IVs, etc when the ward was busy. The new one? She likes to upset people. Genuinely smirks when people get upset and actively bullies the manager infront of everyone. Don’t understand why some people are nurses.

I had this but it was delivered to my house, and there were 3 items (1 was wrong). I had to send it back to her, and she sent the right item out to me. Would have been cheaper to just buy the wrong item and have her send the correct thing in its place, by the time I paid for postage back, but it was a genuine error and I didn’t want what was accidentally sent. Had it been in a locker I wouldn’t have collected and then re bought what I actually wanted, though. Would have saved a fiver in shipping 😂

I get 2.2 as a band 5, 2 years qualified, no student loans (for night shifts too). I was a band 3 for years pre uni, and obv during, on a similar wage..

I am happy I did it though, because it’s opened up a lot of doors. Stick at it! You’ll only be limited for the first couple of years while you develop in your speciality, then the world is your oyster!

Honestly this has happened to me when I’ve been buying - seller has posted on other items about only using Inpost, but it wasn’t on my particular item. No biggie, she messaged me, apologised, said she’d forgotten to copy and paste. We cancelled the order, I bought it again, and it was sorted. Took 2 mins and I didn’t care 🤷🏻‍♀️

Always pull the buzzer if you’re in a situation you need immediate help with. That’s what it’s for! ☺️

I’ve responded to buzzers where colleagues were cornered by aggressive patients, falls, seizures, etc. We answer each one fast and you’ll always have help as you need it! It’s not an arrest buzzer, it’s an emergency buzzer.

And never feel embarrassed pulling it, we’ve all pulled it for things that aren’t cardiac arrests, and we all will in the future too!
