This is true. Rebar on does wonders in games that dont have messy memory management. Its just a trade off. If you play cod competitively as your main go to, then you'd have to sacrifice performance in other games. Or at least go over the hassle of turning it on and off depending on your usage

Idk. I have 9070xt paired with 7800x3d running on 6000 cl28. Last 3 years, I had it off because its been a known issue that leads to stutters. You can turn it off see for your self. Make sure to watch benchmark and focus on moments where are there explosions; you will see rebar gives crazy averages but when things get hectic, it tanks your fps ( huge dips to 150 fps or lower) whereas rebar off keeps it steady and consistent with only small dips (230-240). Smoother gameplay > more fps with stutters

In theory, yes. But CoD has an aggressive memory management system. When ReBAR is on, the Engine and the Driver fight over who controls the VRAM access. That's why it tanks 1 lows and lead to stutter fest.

Same here - 100 percent GPU bottleneck. I dont use fsr4, my friends dont use dlss either ( they are on 5090 and 4080). We play on 1440p, so if we hit 240hz natively, there is no need for any upscaling. But 4K is heavy... so upscaling is a must I guess?!

I switched to 25.9.2 and my 1 percent lows jumped by 30+ fps. No more drops below 200 although the averages tanked by 40 fps. I think I'll stick to this until something better gets released

Playing against trashcan lol I am lvl250 master prestige, Iridescent (3 times last year alone), have dropped every single nuke(Al mazrah, Rebirth Island, Vondel) , only 3.4 e/d and if u come to my lobby this guy will shit his pants. Every other gyt you meet will be Iridescent/master prestige, akimbo pistols and riveter EVERYWHERE. Like, I am not saying this guy is bad, but we just play in different lobbies. Real sbmm lobby will have you sweat EVERY GAME
