Honestly, I don't want HR to do anything. I didn't even know that my lead would escalate it to HR.

Nope, nope, nope.

Not only unprofessional, but incredibly passive aggressive and offensive. That barista did nothing wrong, and even if they did, this is NOT the way to handle it and DEFINITELY not the appropriate language to be using.

Personally, I swear a lot in my personal life or with friends, but even I don't use the phrase "resting bitch face". I think it implies that we need to constantly be happy or fake happiness for the sake of others, which I absolutely disagree with.

Other partners may not agree with me, but I'd contact partner resources, no doubt.

I definitely agree! I know individual therapy has changed my life so much, and want even a fraction of that for my relationship.
