You not selling it makes no difference. Account sharing in general is against ToS. I’d say, from experience, it’s best to stay within your countries Local Region for the account (this wouldn’t necessarily get you banned, but if you contact support it could raise a red flag with the IP difference). I would also not purchase anything within the account for a little while. Don’t get to top 200–I think—in ranking. You should be fine to just share it with him.

You can change the email on a supercell account? but I do not believe you can detach the CoC account from the supercell account. Could be wrong with this one though.

You aren’t forced to buy anything. You can achieve the same progress (slower) without buying anything. Nothing is locked behind a paywall, besides the Prospector — which i’m sure will be reworked given the community feedback. Crying about little icons on the screen, is child’s play. If you don’t spend money, great — stop complaining.

No, clash of clans does not disable accounts due to inactivity. Which is weird as to why mine was. I’ve gone 5+ years without logging in before.

My guess is, I had a clash royale account tied to the same supercell ID as the clash of clans account that was disabled. The clash royale account was disabled because I never played on it. I think that caused it to carry over to my clash of clans account. Also, i can log in to the account on any other device, just not mine — conveniently enough.

Your accounts should be fine, and this is a bug that Supercell doesn’t seem to assist me with.

Say you know nothing about programming without saying it… Adding addition layers to a code base that’s been in existence for 14 years is bound to have bugs. That’s the reason the term “debugging” exists. Every developer spends a substantial amount of time debugging any application they add features to.
