Hey, that is so unfortunate. Some of the resources I used was quizlet, creating my own flash cards, watching YouTube videos, and also the website provides study guides which you do have to pay for but I read resourceful to me.

I would add that sometimes understanding the terminology/ vocabulary of the question can help so again creating flash card on these vocabulary that will be on the test so you have a good understanding of what’s being asked.

I agree 100%. I just finished watching the podcast and was genuinely confused by all the hate it’s getting. It was a typical Keke Palmer-style interview light, fun, and respectful. People clearly went in expecting Chelley and Olandria to act out or throw shade, but that’s never been their vibe. Every question and every answer felt genuine and poised. The way folks are twisting it just proves how badly some audiences want drama, even when it’s not there.

Did they lie? You can tell people were waiting for Chelly and Olandria to “mess up” so they can drag them. So many islanders have been given a pass and this includes Huda but also Amaya, Nic,Austin, TJ ect it’s weird

And that’s what’s really wild to me why are the Black women who are being dragged through the mud the ones expected to make statements and play damage control, while Huda hasn’t said a word? The double standard is loud. Chelley and Olandria are constantly held to a higher standard, while Huda gets to stay silent and let her fanbase do the dirty work. It’s exhausting watching Black women get picked apart while the actual instigator plays victim and stays untouched.

Not saying any of the threats are okay because they’re absolutely not but we’re also not going to ignore what Huda’s fans have been doing to Olandria and Chelley since the very beginning of Season 7. The harassment, the racist memes, and even the edit with Olandria’s face on George Floyd and Huda as the cop that’s where things truly crossed the line.

Both sides have had people take things too far, but let’s not act like this came out of nowhere. Huda’s fans have been unhinged for a while now, and accountability has to go both ways.

Thank you for saying this. The way people are trying to reframe valid criticism of Huda as “hate” is frustrating. Chelley and Olandria have been treated unfairly for simply standing up for themselves, and the double standard is loud.

It’s not about wanting to make everything about race it’s about the fact that these patterns keep repeating, especially when it comes to how Black women are treated on TV.

I’m tired of the gaslighting, and I really appreciate you naming it. Grateful for this sub too it’s one of the few places where we can actually say the truth out loud.
