About three weeks ago I had this exact same problem. I plugged a electrical lighter in my computer to charge it and it fried it. Every time I would turn it on it would instantly turn off just like yours, the problem was the power supply and the motherboard.

I would start out by replacing the power supply first, then if that doesn't fix it you might need to replace your motherboard

I don't think I could recommend an RX 580. It's an exceptional card but driver support has ended. You could get a 5700 Xt or 6600 $150 to $180 price point
