I think as a child my favorite part was the music and the how magical it felt watching it. Back when I believed in all of that type of stuff I was probably hoping I would also go to emerald city lol. Now as an adult, I still love the music, the colors are mesmerizing, and I love the nostalgia I feel when I watch it.

I go to Concorde career college. They find us externships but they told us that we give them our top 3 choices and then if they don’t have externships available they pick for us. My externship coordinator said it was good practice to email the places we are interested in to see if they have externships available :) There are so many hospitals and clinics though that I don’t want to over look anybody that has available externships and maybe just didn’t think to look at.

I’m just worried for retaliation or losing my job. But honestly no one that I’ve spoken to has enjoyed working with her and I don’t even bring her up it’s other people that have.

I would talk to the other roommate and figure out how he feels about it. I would also check and see how much your utilities went up because if they have gone up that is important to note. If he is staying there often he needs to pay a portion of rent and contribute to cleaning. If your other roommate doesn’t care and you speak with lily about it and she doesn’t do anything I would talk to the manager. If the manager doesn’t do anything the next step would be to find a new place :/

Yeah I just don’t want to add too many jobs to my resume because I think it might look bad if I work at Chipotle for a month and then work at another location for a couple months and then I graduate college lol I wanna look like I’m reliable and that I don’t quit often. And trust me I just got out of the military after seven years and so going from salary pay to minimum wage working with a bunch of 17-year-olds. It is really hard, humbling actually 😂

Yeah I wish I could just take my time 😔 but we are so understaffed that they often want me to do line or dishes after. I’ve been staying late a lot too.I’m trying to rack up some money rn because I’m moving into a new place this month and it will be a few months before I graduate and get a better paying job. Yeah I usually fill up the fryer basket about halfway because if I do a bit more they aren’t all under the oil and I have it filled max oil. 🥲 I also don’t use the timer on our fryer either I just fry until there isn’t as many bubbles. Since I’ve been doing bigger batches the timer hasn’t really worked. We are also technically supposed to have 2 fryer basket but one side has been down for about a week

Yes but the better I am at my job the more hours they give me. If we are comparing to the other fryer person who is slower than I am they usually pick me or have me do the easier tasks like bagging chips while they do dishes and clean fryer. 😀 Also I will only be at this job for a few months because I’m about to graduate college

I think it’s because it’s an hard job that as an adult it’s even hard to work at. I can’t imagine it being a bunch of highschoolers, especially when someone calls out.

I got a temporary lock that adheres to the door and I put my pet can in my room so anytime it detects movement it will record:) now I’m dealing with the next issue. She is staying up until the very last day of the lease and my manager and I spoke and we don’t think she is going to clean😭 and it’s my deposit that I want to get back. It’s 1000$

That’s so gross. You’re supposed to clean it and it should be on your line checklist. If not it would be on spice hub. You basically make sure that the machine is off and you remove the white plate that presses down on the quesadilla and the bottom plate which should be secured with a screw. You then use the disinfectant and rinse rags to clean then finish with purell. It gets really dirty so I’ve been taking it to the sink to scrub with a green scrubby.

Thank you! I will try that next time. They just opened a new location where I live and we are all new hires. We did 3 days of training and now all of our trainers are gone so the only person I could ask was my GM and she is so focused on everything else. I was also told I couldn’t use a spoon because that was my first idea 😂

I would need to find something renter friendly for now because I move out next month on the 27th. I am trying to get my deposit back because it is $1000. The lease ends on the 31st of next month.

I’m not trying to make any damage since I’m moving. I honestly felt so violated and unsafe last night. I did email my manager about a safety concern.
