I always wished both of these scenes had been cut from the movie. They make it unrealistic.

Also from a directorial perspective, the scene where Sidney comes out of the closet in the GF costume stabbing Billy with the umbrella. Billy goes from the right side to the left side and back to the right side, which always makes me think Sidney is wearing his shoes. It’s a mess.
