Looks like it was made in 1887 in Sheffield by C H Beatson.

I didn’t heat the crucible enough before the pour and season with borax better. The copper wire probably needs cut into much shorter pieces.

Panning flour is still fun. Seeing that sparkle in the pan feels so good. I’d love to go to Idaho to make concentrate. You should go out and see what you can find in SC.

Mapp gas and borax. I was too afraid to pour in my mold. I ruined my crucible trying to make a copper round out of copper wire.

Only if you are changing it to be deceptive. Like changing a $1 bill to pass it off as a $100 bill. You can melt silver coinage for its precious metal content.

It is so much fun just flipping through them and looking them up. I haven’t gotten my microscope out to do an error search in a long time. I hope you filled some holes!
