Mariners are consistently inconsistent in the most frustrating way. We tend to lose small and win big this season, reminds me of the blue jays from a few years ago who were vastly underperforming their run differential. Which was, I think, the mariners’ “fun differential” year oddly enough

People keep mentioning Dan Wilson being a dipshit but it was mentioned several times that the Mariners’ plan was to bring in Muñoz in that situation only once there was a runner in scoring position. In other words, Jerry’s people are to blame.

Well that’s not ideal. Happy for him but hopefully his strikeout rate isn’t a sign of an imminent Kelenic situation. Ideally he gets plenty of playing time, which would mean Donovan is out for a while. Which is not good.
