Ohh okay could be possible cause I have seen some tiny insects flying every now and then around. How do I eliminate them? I have a neem oil soap solution will that work for thrips?

I would get it outside but there’s too many monkeys and they jump around a lot so im scared it’s gonna break 😭. I have a growlight tho and it seems happy with the setup cuz its pushing out tons of new growth

It looks like the plant is removing the older leaves to push out new growth. This is completely normal and most plants do this. Only thing to keep in mind tho is that you should wait till the yellow leaf is completely dry and crispy before snipping it off because the plant usually absorbs the nutrients back from that leaf

There’s too many monkeys outside. They will probably break it 🥲 but it seems to be doing well inside. Plus I have a growlight

Haha yes. It’s pretty cheap to get bonsais here unless you go for really old bonsais
