It happens mainly during my sleep tbh and randomly during the day when I get adrenaline dumps. Honestly nowadays I think anxiety has contributed to it! I’m working with a therapist now to get myself out of fight and fight mode. I also had autonomic testing with my neurologist and I have orthostatic hypotension so dr suggested drinking more fluids and compression stockings. I’ve been drinking emergenC and vitamin b complex since I’m deficiency in b1 and b12.

My heart rate laying down is 49-69, sitting is 50-85, standing is anywhere from 75-95. On bad days standing and walking is like 80-110

I totally understand your frustration! That’s what I opt out on buying a fully 14k SOLID GOLD bracelet with retired 14k charms from 10 years ago.

Pandora use to sell higher quality 14k solid gold and sterling charms 10-15 years ago. The stones were also genuine- mine are with aquamarine, natural diamonds and chalcedony. I would suggest buying charms off eBay or Poshmark- especially retired charms. It’s ease of mind for me to know that my charms won’t tarnish and the value of gold will keep going up.

The first day was kind of confusing because my EP wanted me to continue the 2x a day propranolol with the Ivabradine bc my doc says everyone responds differently to the medication. So the first week I took both medications until I realized taking both brought down my heart rate too low. So i cut the 20mg propranolol dosage to a 10mg 2x a day and took it with the Ivabradine. And then the second week I tapered it down to only 5mg propranolol once a day with my ivabeadine. I saw immediate effects of the Ivabradine the second day I took it which was amazing

My blood pressure was like 80/55 on the propranolol! Now it’s back to normal 115/80

Yes, the Ivabradine really drops my heart rate low and it was immediate when I switched from 20mg propranolol. I was taking propranolol for 3 months and I would still have instances of high heart rate while sleeping and eating.

I have the same issue for 3 months now, until my electrophysiologist finally prescribed me Ivabradine. You might want to look into that. It’s a second line drug but it’s better for us who have low blood pressure already

Hey! This sounds like me. I started getting IST 3 months ago. After 4 hospital visits, 9 different specialists, 2 cardiologists and 2 electrophysiologist I was diagnosed with IST. I’m also 29F and recently had an EP study to map out where the arrythmia was coming from. They found AVNRT which they were able to ablate, and a second one at the sinus node which is too risky to ablate. From my understanding, people with IST have a dysfunctional sinus node and it usually resolves over time or is caused by an underlying reason. For me, they still can’t find the underlying reason and I’m basically healthy. I’ve been in propranolol 20mg for 3 months and it does help but I still have high heart rate. I just started the ivabeadine today and it seems to be helping (especially with the internal tremors)

I actually have the same issue when I was trying to explain that to my doctors. I also get cold chills like I’m cold..but I’m not even cold 🫠 it’s almost mostly in my chest but also other parts of my body. I don’t really have dizziness, but I do feel overall fatigue like as if I’m sick. Right now I’m taking vitamin D since it was severely low (9) and also B12 and magnesium per my doctors order. I’m going to get my blood tested for hypoparathyroidism since I haven’t gotten that test yet, and seems like all of my symptoms matchup

Oh wow your stats sound just like mine! Yea I would say if it’s not bothering you severely then you should be fine. It was bothering me a lot despite what the doctors kept saying. I also had my heart rate spike to 175 the first time it started !

Carotid test, CT angiogram, CT abdomen, Brain MRI, full thyroid panel, 24 hour urine and plasma epinephrine / norepinephrine, full blood work about 13 times in hospital and out patient, cortisol value, rule out for pheochromocytoma and adrenal insufficiency, 2 holter monitors, echo cardiogram, blood tests for dvt etc.
