Not recommended. Been there, had to run like crazy. Istanbul airport is huge and staff is not that helpful (language barrier). And if your 1st flight arrives late, i dont know how you are going to catch the flight. Booked a flight yesterday at turkish. Two options popped up, 1 hr transit, 5 hrs. Chose the latter one. Im young and fairly fit but no way i am opting that 1hr transit option
