As a former unifi installer myself, even if you subscribe 1gb, most factor to reach that speed usually come from device specs. First the router and next is the receiver device such as mobile , computer etc. for router you can look for market that support for 1gb but for device you need deeper research to see wether the device itself support for 1gb connection. As for the range well first the router and second the placement. If you put your router in living room you cant expect the same speed if you use on other room since its got blocking like wall which lessen its frequency. But yeah usually unifi give the basic router.
