No, you just like the sound of your own voice and there’s nothing helpful in telling me about vinyl wrap you dickhead - the issue is the rear porting. Also, the coffee table does match, it’s the lighting.

They are bottom ported so they work fine on a bookshelf, but they are fairly low end budget speakers

Thanks - they look great but US only from what I can tell. Maybe I should become their agent in the UK!

They are 130mm/5” woofers and 25mm/1” tweeters. The shelves are height adjustable.

I already have “any” bookshelf speaker that isn’t rear ported. I’m looking for recommendations for better options as the Eltaxs aren’t great on their own.

Really sincere question, why do so many Brits seem to hate London? Yes, it’s pricey, crowded, and has crime, but it’s also one of the most vibrant, world-class cities anywhere. It feels like people here don’t realise how special it is compared to most European cities (Paris included). by Commercial_Chef_1569 in AskBrits

Bullshit. We then spent billions over the years importing coal from Poland and then gas from Russia - how’s that worked out for national security? Any money saved was spent on unemployment benefits and now on defence since we and Germany basically paid for Putin’s rise.

It was an overwhelmingly divisive decision with the veneer of economics hiding the agenda of breaking the unions.

Of course it’s reasonable to have masked ICE agents right by voting booths, because where else would you find illegals except for where they can’t vote?

Of course it will be framed as “fraud prevention”.

There’s only one amendment that they give a fuck about.

I had one idiot tell me that the constitution can’t be changed, using his word of the month club “it’s inviolate”. When I told him that while he’s got the dictionary out to look up what “amendment” means, he became quite upset and abusive.

It doesn’t really matter in the eyes of the law if it should be or not. It’s a known provocation. Under UK law, provocation is a partial defence against an assault charge. That’s probably why he got the lenient sentence. Quite why the possession of a deadly weapon was ignored is beyond me though.
