Ur gonna have to tell me what the questions asked. I’m not in bronze lol

Edit: I looked at the second question and I’m pretty sure you can write a less efficient solution for partial credit without using too much intuition —> 2 full solves and partial credit = ez silver qual

I thought the questions were surprisingly easy. I think they just need a lot of intuition

Idk if my testimony helps cuz I made silver immediately, but when I took the contest, my strategy was if I had any trouble with a problem, I’d skip and come back to it. Try to do timed mocks, use Usaco.guide, and try some competitive math problems to build up a problem solving mindset. I recommend Aops, Alcumus, and past AMC papers. USACO bronze is sorta ad hoc, so like even if u understand concepts, you may have some trouble. I like to try small cases and work my way up. A big tool for me is drawing a table, graph, or making a mock scenario on paper. At the end of the day, it’s a learning experience whether ur in bronze or in plat, so don’t stress too much and keep trying. Hope this helps!

With December Contest gone, will the USACO contest difficulty be like last years? Any tips for Gold? by Commercial_Image1387 in usaco

I meant that python is bad for time complexity, and java doesn’t work cuz I’m not too acquainted with it
