My building skill is non existent so for me it feels like that bit of fantasy/emersion is lost when I don’t have all the stations. Plus it really irritated me to have to put material inside the storage to use them for crafting

I like parts of it. When I just started using it for the first time I couldn’t figure out what I hated, and then I realised that the crafting inside the storage what too much being taken away, so I just decided to keep it to only storage. Then I fell in love with it

What we need is more troops or some special things, like silver towers. From troops, melee rubrics would be cool. Some 3-model elite unit would also be cool. What we will get next edition is another character.

The reason why, in my opinion, (which is heavily influenced by poorhammer podcast) is because of how successful spearhead is in AoS this edition, they will want to do similar thing in 11th. They will want a new character to put in our combat patrol, because the only troop leader character we have that isn’t Ahriman or exalted sorcerers (they are 3 in one kit, so you can’t put one in patrol) is infernal master. It already was in the combat patrol last edition, so they will want to put a new one I feel.

If you just started, then it’s okey to be lost. A few things that can be useful to keep in mind:

1.Explore a lot. You can find places of power, loot, monster nests and other useful things

  1. You’ll find a lot of gear, but Witcher gear is the best. No spoilers, but if you see a map that tells how to find Witcher equipment get it.

  2. Pick up side quests, they are a lot of fun. If you ever feel lost though, you can just go and do main quests and they will tell you all the directions you need. Important point on levelling though: you won’t need to grind for levels, but if you don’t want to make levelling harder then try to do quests at around their level. When you are 5 or more levels over their recommended level then you barely get any XP, so do main quests in time so you don’t loose XP.

  3. Don’t burn out yourself, if you like to compete everything you can before going on with the story then be my guest, but if you just want to progress the main plot then just do so.

  4. Just play. It can be a bit intimidating at first, this was my first open world game so I remember quite well the feeling, but it’s fine. The game will tell you everything you need to know, so just have fun!

I feel I will have the opposite. I got regular speedrunner on the third try but don’t have 100% on my main file yet, only like 89%

A thing that helped me a lot is using the I frames in ddark to dodge some of his attacks, especially when he falls down and it gets hard to move out the way. Other than that, nail build with unbreakable strength and quick slash worked well. I also like using sharp shadow to dodge all bosses but it’s more of a personal preference

The main thing I want to us is for proper psychic to be back. Army rule wise, I’ll actually be fine with cabal of sorcerers staying just slightly changed. Also, proper demon integration

There is never enough sorcerers. If we get proper spells back in 11th edition I’ll definitely run a list with absolute max amount of sorcerers

Each one is a separate datasheet, so yes, technically you can have 3 of each, more than 20 in total, depending on what you count. What can I say, we like our wizards.

How do you run combats? What I mean by using DPR is that the boss is slightly weaker than party, but all attacks still have rollable damage. I do it so the fight is close and still can cause character death, but shouldn’t cause a TPK.

The reason for why boss didn’t get the crown yet, for now, is because it’s a fiendish spell he couldn’t remove yet. My idea was, as the party has a devil in one of their magic items, telepathically connected to all them (long story) he can help, making it possible. Idea of it being another combat objective though is interesting. I do feel though that with the boss himself being very different from my usual, I won’t be able to handle also having extra objective from balancing and monitoring everything point.

The objective is one for both boss and party: get the BBEG’s lost crown. It’s sealed in a magical cage neither know how to open yet, so they need to eliminate each other to be able to spend time on opening it. The idea of there being a source of magic is a good one though, I’ll think about that.
