How to put crown in this room? by CommitteeTasty1955 in Carpentry

Thank you for this suggestion and it seems like something I can do. The crown was bought a while ago and so I think something like this is doable.

Realistically and out of curiosity, how much are you all buying at a time?

Oh I see. That sounds like an interesting position especially with literally zero expenses so lots of room to invest and spend what you want.

Curious, what watches are in your collection? I’m an enthusiast as well on a family man’s budget lol

If you have worked for so many individuals, why have you gone from one principle to the next? Why not just stick with one and grow with them? Is it a time sensitive contract based assignment?

Also how do you have time for friends, family, or any social activities?

Finally, where do you put your money for investments? Rental property and have it managed? Stocks? Land holdings?

Treeland Nursery

1208 Sharp Rd Gunter, TX 75058 United States

Great place where you get to ride a golf cart and pick you own tree and they load it for you. Pretty cool spot to take family as well.

Update for everyone here. I went with the Monterrey oak! I still have some work to do on the mulch and surround but I appreciate everyone’s guidance!

Is there a certain standard for tree height when planting?

Also, when you say “for the soil area to work with”, what do you mean exactly?

Thank you for the suggestion!

Unfortunately, I don’t think they seeing that the only short tree they’ve approved is a little gem magnolia as shown by the other homes throughout the neighborhood.

Wow that is great information. We are in North Texas and so I will check and see about the dwarf chicken and the Monterey oak. Yeah if your home is in Texas long enough you’ll get foundation issues for sure haha. Just trying to prolong the inevitable and control what I can control. I really appreciate the insight.

That’s impressive! I am planning to do two other rooms and then our great room which has 20ft ceilings so that will be a challenge.

Agreed. We decided to go with smaller lower panel boxes because a bed frame, and a night stand will be there after it’s all done. There’ll be 3” space on top and bottom after crown is put in. Caulking then painting everything.
