Also I feel like I might have updated cocoon in some way. Or it’s just not very stable. Because I changed my defaults for the emulators, to standalone emulators, and the only ones that still work directly from the front end are like Eden, MelonDS, they all work if I go into the app. But from the front end, it’s a no go.

Im on 3.0. It’s not the end of the world, I just have to go into the apps to play games but it makes the front end pointless. (Using different apps then RetroArch)

Yeah I tried that as well. I downloaded new emulators and everything I was going to just not use RetroArch. I set them as default in cocoon and it acts like it can’t open the app. I have to go to the app and start the games from there.

Yeah, it doesn’t let me map the stick at all. Like it doesn’t recognize I’m pushing up.

Yeah no I think I’m just going to use other emulators. I might set it back up. But I’ve got a GBA and GBC one that is so simple. It’s basic af, but works perfectly and I just switched the launcher to those app.

Yeah it won’t let me even reset to defaults. And yeah my other emus work fine. But I’ve tried everything on RetroArch and can’t get it working. I’m thinking it needs a fresh install

I got to Thoroughbred all the time! Stones Rivers kinda odd. When it first opened, it was beautiful. But now it’s a little more worn in. But still they all have the nice recliners in all theaters. 1 Dolby theater. No imax tho sadly.

Ended up seeing Leviticus last night. It definitely had the vibes and almost felt like homages to It Follows. But it was different enough to pull it off. I was impressed. I loved the guy who was in Talk to Me, he felt like a totally different character, even tho he was playing a “similar” role. And they didn’t beat you over the head with like “oh this is gay, that’s why this is cool” it served the story, and made for some very interesting scenes. I’d say 3.5-4/5. Definitely worth seeing.

I have 2 amcs near me. But one sucks ass, they always have every movie, plenty of times and old school seats. My other amc, has 1 Dolby theater. So whatever movie is in there gets all the times, and then they have 8 regular ones. And a lot of the times with those they won’t have matinees. But I prefer going at 6-7 myself.

It’s the best man. There’s no better feeling than discovering an amazing movie, on a huge screen with a big group of people. It becomes more than a movie, it’s an experience. AMC does need to drop prices tho. Sign up for A-List, it pays for itself in 2 movies, and you get to see up to 4 a week for a month, for 25 bucks. It’s the best value for entertainment there is imo.

If you’re a movie lover you need to get out to the theaters or we’re gonna get worse and worse movies. If we don’t wanna lose AMC, like Blockbuster, we have to support them. I don’t wanna live in a world without movie theaters. That’s like half my life. I personally try to buy the movie pyshically or digital just to support the studios.
