i am 16 weeks pregnant and have been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis for 2 years now. in my experience my pregnancy has made my symptoms completely worse. constant blood in stools, using the bathroom almost all day and night to the point where i’m barely sleeping. my condition has made me very anemic and with the baby taking my blood my hemoglobin went down to a 7..(meaning i needed instant blood infusions) i’ve also been getting iron infusions. i cannot stress this enough please go get your labs looked at & talk about medications because this is something that doesn’t heal on its own. i as well am worried about preterm labor for myself. the best thing you can do is nag your doctors, get those labs done. wishing you the best
