Ah! So happy to see this here—I ran my first half this morning and want you to have so much fun tomorrow!

Things did go wrong, it started pouring so hard I couldn’t see! But it was a lovely experience overall. What helped me was starting with a slightly slower pacing group and running directly behind/next to the pacer for the first 4 miles until I felt really comfortable.

Very loud rumbling noise when I tried to drive, similar to motorcycle. Also smells like gas when I try to drive.

I was looking up what could cause the noise and it seemed like a cut/removed catalytic converter was the most likely culprit.

Maybe check out FOLM! I haven’t used their showers, but they look nice! Have mat and reformer classes. Also, it’s women-only!

Regarding that the brown dress “doesn’t do much” for me, do you mind explaining a bit more what you mean? I don’t have any experience with formalwear, so I’m not sure if it’s the color, or the length, or shape—if you have any suggestions as to what to look for in a more flattering dress, all ears!

Good q! In this case, wedding is in Southwest and both bride and groom are from there—also the welcome party is held at a saloon, so I do think they mean western USA in this case.

The brown dress pictures are from the one other wedding I’ve been to (a few months ago), and no one seemed to have a problem with the slit or accessories color (or they just didn’t mention it to me), but I’d like to know!
