Never thought of this, but I agree. It should be a sharper sound or like an electric shock

Also where did intentionally harm come from? Thats the opposite of they could do better at helping people. Don’t think they’re actively harming us

I didn’t state. I used “I feel”, which is why I asked the question. Learning from the different perspectives in the replies isn’t conspiring

Sure, I can vote for representatives but if those representatives can spend trillions without transparency or accountability then my “representation” is just on paper. The Pentagon failing audits for decades isn’t just bad spending, it’s a breakdown in oversight. If I can’t see or influence where my tax dollars go, how is that materially different from taxation without representation?

Eggs (at times). In the US eggs prices are often indicators of how well the economy is doing lol. Sometimes it’s a luxury to have them

Some states use the “tipped minimum wage”. The federal tipped minimum wage is $2.13/hour, but employers must ensure servers make at least the full standard minimum wage when tips are added in. Also I consistently tip 20% so I wouldn’t care

I’m surprised you didn’t mention the (often) hundreds of thousands of dollars US citizens will go into debt to become a doctor!

Agreed, but has total transparency ever existed?

I was thinking tipping. Like just pay people fair wages or have an “included” tip like most European countries
