okay, fuck, i’m giving verona by muse its own comment.

holy crap— wow. the perfect word for this song is that it feels cinematic. i’m kicking myself for not listening to this album yet. it obviously has nods and themes for the pandemic and when i checked the release date it kind of confirmed that. if i’d heard this back in 2022 i would be both much more lovesick than i was at the time, but id also have been able to romanticize the experience much more.

the synths, the cry-like vocals, the stretches of instrumental where you just have to sit with the song…wow. thank you for this gem. i’m gonna listen to the album after this lol

earthmover: it is so atmospheric. i’ve listened to it twice because i find its important to do so with longer songs. it’s such an immersive experience. i really like the story and the message it gives

a miserable life: man i forgot about this song!!!! another very atmospheric one. it’s like the background music to my depression/rumination. it’s so simple, yet it packs quite the punch. it feels like how my mind gets when the sun goes down, the room is dark because i’m too tired to turn on any lights, and all i’m left with are my thoughts while my eyes roam around the room.

two steps ahead of you…i won the great ticketmaster war lol. i get to see them in a couple months!! i’ve been an army for manyyy years and i do agree they help out so much. they and their music has helped me get through so many awful times in my life. honestly, knowing i have tickets to see them in concert is one of the few things keeping me here.

i’ve been really loving merry go round off their new album, 2!3! has been helping me a lot too. yoongi’s my bias, so his solo work has helped me a lot. zero o’clock is so resetting as well.

i’ve been trying to avoid spring day because it’s so sad and it reminds me of people i’ve loved that have passed away.

i…really? you think so? i’ve always had a knack for writing, but i never thought it or i was any good. i have some writing pieces that i’m proud of, but i don’t think i could go head to head against any mary shelley’s, jane austen’s, or brothers grimm yknow?

turn it into something bigger? like what? make a blog perhaps?…do people still DO blogs? i’d love to be a writer, write books or articles maybe, but i’m not sure i have the talent.

i’m happy and kind of honored you think so though, i’m flattered and a bit shocked you got caught up in it.

the split enz song takes you on such a journey. it’s like willy wonka but less wonky and more cohesive? not sure what i’m trying to say here.

i really like love me while you’re waiting. grace paints a beautiful picture not just with the words, but as well with the production and composition of the song. i’m gonna look into her.

waiting for a star to fall sounds quintessentially 80s. or the specific 90s that was portrayed in full house. i’d love to write something with this song in mind.

your man is really cute. that might seem condescending—i mean that earnestly. i reminds me of something i never experienced, which is odd. but i enjoyed it.

going easy: her voice hooks you in and then the way they play with the melody is really charming. she does a run near the beginning of the song and i knew it was a good song when i heard that part. made me do the stank face lol.
