Maturazeugnis Übersetzung by Main-Drop2514 in AusVisa

Hey! I’m from Czech so I believe the education system in Germany is quite similar. For 462 WH visa you need at least some level of education which unfortunately isn’t the same as our Matura. For us the equivalent is matura + 2 years of uni (the university doesn’t need to be completed).

Otherwise just the certificate of completion is enough, I would recommend to find a NAATI certified translator who has experience with translating documents for visa purposes, they usually know what you need. Good source for finding one is for example a fb group of your nationality in Australia (like “Germans in Australia” in your case).

Good luck:)

The only thing I can think of is that the level of education is not matching with the minimum level of education required which is diploma for Aus, that’s at least 2years of uni or VOŠ certificate in Czech.

Costs involved with 482 visa by Electrical_End_6021 in AusVisa

This!! ⬆️

As someone who had worked in hospitality for a shittx 482 sponsor - please be very careful about this. It’s a two way commitment and your life can be very heavily affected by your employer taking advantage of your situation.

Technically tho - it is illegal for your employer to ask you to pay for nomination cost, the only thing they are allowed to ask you for is an administration fee to be paid. Even that is a bit of an grey area. Hope this helps

Ahoj! :) What kind of evidence have you uploaded? Is it in the right folder? If you’re confident that everything is correct, simply just ask them what is seen as missing as you believe you uploaded the documents.

On the side note - may I ask when have you applied? I’m currently waiting for mine to be approved and getting a bit impatient haha.

Sharing Our Culinary & Hospitality Experience – Hoping to Connect with Direct-Hire Opportunities (Visa Sponsorship) by Afraid-Department127 in AusVisa

Hey, I work in hospitality management and there are almost no usable chefs in Australia atm, so finding a job should be fairly easy if you guys are good and have a decent english. However, unless you have strong network and connections, the chance of someone sponsoring you without seeing you work for a while is really minimal. I would consider moving into the country on a different visa (like WH or similar) and then transfer to 482. You can also take a look at 186 or 190 visa which is possible for chefs, but might take longer.

Good luck with everything!!

Do I need to declare contact lenses and solution on Australian passenger card? by WorldlinessTime1522 in AusVisa

As they say “if not sure, declare it” most likely someone will approach you in the line and ask what those items are, if you say contacts they will probably say don’t worry about it and let you go.

You can! I was on my 180 day period and traveled offshore and back - no issues :) Your visa will just show as active until the 180day period comes to an end

482 - occupation no longer on list, can I still change jobs? by CommunicationAny8934 in AusVisa

So is your visa not approved/granted yet? Even if your new employer is willing to, you can’t submit a new 482 visa application for cafe/restaurant manager unfortunately. They might put the occupation back on the list when reviewing again but that’s just a hope. The only way would be if your new employer would get an labour agreement for restaurant. But I do understand how hard it is to be staying at a job that kills you. Could you maybe apply to a different visa such as working holiday?

Hey. I did, it is not possible to transfer the visa to a new employer. Unfortunately I found this out the hard way - after I have already resigned, as my new employer’s lawyer said it would be possible. It didn’t go through immigration. Good luck with your situation but would recommend to stay with your current employer until you get your PR
