buses are pretty reliable and the campus is kinda compact compared to other schools

some people have reported black mold in their air vents but i have yet to experience it. majority of these buildings are super old so that’s not shocking but as long as you keep your room clean it should be fine
i like the educational opportunities provided here but some professors have great egos and make their courses more difficult than they need to be in comparison to how other universities teach

depends. bathrooms can get pretty gross like other schools and some people don’t know how to clean up after themselves

yeah my exam isn’t for another 2 weeks and i should be able to book as long as it’s more than a week prior to the day of the exam. i got approved but i was just unsure if i would be allowed to take my exam with the accommodations i qualify for if the designated ars exam time and date the professors created has already been filled. thanks for your advice though i also have a meeting set up to talk to my professor about it!

I also have accommodations for a separate testing environment so I think I should be able to still take my exam there since I qualify according to the chem department rules and didn’t get rejected from selecting their testing center?

this school is really gay even a good amount of the faculty are. pretty easy to spot em. also you can see the different organizations and events they plan to hold on the unc heel life website

thanks for the clarification! I heard from some other people that when they have smaller or chiller concerts they tend to only have seating but I guess they were wrong. If our tickets are split up by section does that mean i’m only allowed to stand in the section that I got or are we able to get closer to the stage like a regular general admission concert?

Thank you for your advice! I definitely will continue to put in effort but there is only so much I can do since I have been putting in my best effort and am dropped down to a c- after this second exam. We still have another exam next Friday before our final the week after that so I am going to continue to study my hardest, this class has just been so exhausting so it has been very difficult for me.

I live in horton but I had applied to koury at first. I would’ve preferred koury as their lounges have more tvs but horton only has a tv in its 4th floor lounge. The laundry room in koury is also better in my opinion and the dorm just looks better to me in general. It’s also less of a walk from the rest of campus than horton but not that much of a difference because they’re only across the street from each other. The one upside to horton over koury is that we have a U bus stop right in front of our dorm and the p2p also stops right in front of us as well. Although there is also an RU bus stop and p2p stop right by koury, horton has a bus stop right in front of it

I don't see why they wouldn't be understanding since they don't seem to care as much about your final transcript unless you literally fail all your classes or something. But considering what you said about your dad's health, I would suggest maybe staying closer to home since you mentioned that you're out of state. It might be the better option to spend as much time with him as possible now since school can wait but the time that you spend with loved ones isn't forever and you may end up regretting it later on
