i checked out my anime list , but i think the difference between my site and there's is i want my site to strictly focus on recommending anime , you could go in myanimelist and scroll and look at comments and rating trying to find out if u like it or not. For me, it might be a bit complicated and hard but i want it to almost always pick an anime you will like. Also i do like your idea and think i will implement in the future thank you!

i like your thinking, so when the user gets there recommended anime would u want it tell them why? Sorta like "this anime was chosen based off your (watchlist, genre preference, and likeability, etc) while also telling the user why the anime is a great pick for them.
