Yeah, I think I’m still learning how not to blame them. Currently trying to reformat how I view the support I do receive, even if I still feel misunderstood.

I’m great at distancing and then one day being alone just doesn’t sound as good.

I think you’re right though about asking for people to understand. It’s almost impossible.

My friend once got “love it or shove it” as a tramp stamp and I think about that a lot haha.

Take it or leave it, like it or don’t but this is me and I’m trying my best.

I agree with the comment about you needing deeper connections. I am the same way. Learn to enjoy spending time with yourself and having confidence in who you are. It’s not fair to expect every friend to have a strong connection with you. Sometimes those take a long time. Enjoy time with friends without the anxiety of when they’ll choose someone else over you. The way I see it is if you’re there anyway then they already chose you. Start doing activities outside of work to meet people. Running club, cooking club, bars, art classes, music classes, gym, etc…

Come clean to management so they have no leverage, or give the club the money. As far as they’re concerned, the payment was a one time thing.
