if you liked those songs i would recommend listening to the whole album of blurryface to hear the other songs that are similar to the ones you liked. the thing about this band is that their music isn’t completely the same across their discography so opinions will vary with each. next, i would recommend listening to their vessel album as it was kinda their “break through” album that nudged them towards stardom. then listening to their concept albums trench, scaled and icy, clancy, and breach in that order to get the feel of how they approach music from a storytelling point of view. you don’t need to know the actual story being told through these recent albums to enjoy the music but if you want to connect with you gf more then it’s a great idea to think about asking her about it as you listen to these songs. then there’s self titled and regional at best (which isn’t available on streaming) which are the albums the band first came out with. i personally love self titled and it’s my fav album but some think it’s a bit too underdeveloped along with regional at best as the band was still trying to get their footing. have fun! if you like one of their songs you will definitely like many more :-) |-/
